IMPORTANT
The 4.5 inch long torque arm provides a greater accuracy in sight adjustment, because with a longer lever it requires less pressure to make a smaller motion. Which allows you to be more sensitive in your adjustment.

I just received my AK site tool. All I can say is fantastic and I am e-mailing friends tonight and telling co-workers at the Corpus Christi Army Depot (Rotary Wing Overhaul Facility with over 1 billion annual budget) about this product. I always thought a C-type design was inferior to an O-type and wondered why nobody offered one. If you try to adjust a site that has been staked a finer thread might be better but then I haven't tried this one yet and it would probably increase your production costs somewhat. I opened up a "store bought" tool on a site that was staked and we then built one from 4340 that did the trick because it was better material and thicker, but still a C-type. You have a great product and I will be telling as many people as I can and "Made in the USA" means something to me. I wish every machine tool in this country was busy making products like yours.

This tool is built like an AK (it’s can take abuse), and last a lifetime. It’s very heavy duty, and I don’t see anyone breaking one. The manufacturing quality is beautiful, with no rough machining marks, and best of all it works as directed, and functions better than all the other brands. And all this quality at a very affordable price.

Being relatively new to the AK side of the house (primarily AR's in the past), I had heard the various horror stories about adjusting sights on these weapons. A friend purchased his PSL-54C about a week before I did, and he spent the better part of an afternoon punching holes and adjusting the sights on his gun. When we took mine out to the desert, adjustments were quick and the sensitivity of the tool was quite good. Had my PSL sights adjusted in about 30 minutes, and most of that time was spent walking back and forth to the targets.
Another friend with an older Egyptian Maadi has not been able to adjust his sights for years, and this tool took care of the problem. Great tool, highly recommended!

I received this tool last week, and was very impressed with the durability of this tool. I used it on my own SGL21, and my brother's WASR, which had resisted attempts to have its front sight moved by a different tool.
I was able to move my SGL21 post with no problems, but the WASR proved very resistant. I felt very comfortable putting a LOT of pressure down pushing on the AKFST tool, it was very sturdily constructed, but i still had a problems with the WASR.
After an email with Magna-Matic, they suggested some penetrating oil to loosen up the front sight. That did the trick! (I used some brake cleaner).
I was very impressed both with the quality of the tool and with the customer service (They even reshipped the tool to me, at their expense, when I left my apartment # out of the initial order. That goes above and beyond what is expected).
I would recommend this tool (and this company) to anyone wanting to zero their AK sights.

I've been shooting and cleaning M-16's and AR-15's since I entered the Army in 1987. Without question, this is the finest tool of its kind that I have had the pleasure of using while cleaning my two current AR type guns. This is a very well made, substantial tool. The pictures don't really give you a sense of the heft of this tool. Between the CRT-15 and the Bore Snake, cleaning my rifles has become very quick and easy. Thank you folks for an excellent product, and exceptionally fast (and customer friendly) service.

In the past the Bolt Carrier Assy took a while to clean, That is until I tested the CRT-15 last night, and I was shocked that the tool cleaned the bolt tail radius in just a few seconds and did a better job than I did the old school way.
Actually this tool made the job cleaning that part of the bolt FUN (gasp). Once the bolt has been cleaned of all the carbon, you can turn the tool around and insert it into the bolt carrier and clean the area where the bolt sits, and within a couple seconds, that was cleaned as well and cleaned correctly.
So how does Weaponeer rate this tool? I think this tool is essential to everyone that owns an AR15, and it you are a soldier this tool is a MUST HAVE ITEM. Your rifle deserves a good cleaning (your life may depend on it) and this tool is just right for the job and still should fit the standard M16 cleaning kit case.

I have had the opportunity to work with the CRT-15 on literaly hundred's of AR-15/M4 type weapons. I have to tell you, the design of this tool makes short work of cleaning the carbon from both the bolt-carrier and bolt. My only complaint is that the CRT-15 did not debut sooner, it would have saved countless hours of scraping carbon the old fashioned way. The CRT-15 is easy to use and keeps the carrier and bolt as clean as new. I have used the other so called carbon scrapers on the market and can honestly say that not one of them can clean carbon any where near as well as the CRT-15. Best product on the market.
