I recently attended a local gun show and was glad to see that the attendance was huge. From what I could tell, sales looked like they were pretty good, too. What bothered me though, was the large amount of counterfeit items offered for sale. On some the quality was good and you really had to know what you were looking for to spot it. The quality of others was so bad that I'm still not sure why they were even being sold (not to mention the legality issues). One vendor even had the fakes for sale right alongside the legitimate items. The huge price disparity didn't seem to raise any eyebrows either. At Shooter Tactical, we only deal with the actual manufacturers and their authorized distributors. You are guaranteed to get the real thing. So when shopping on-line or at the shows and you find a price that is too good to be true, don't take any chances. Caveat emptor!
